Get Ready for Fling Festival
12th Jun 2017
With a fantastic line-up of music, comedy, theatre, cabaret, crafts and burlesque, Fling Festival is one of the best adult-only festivals in the country. Taking place at Hylands House in Essex on 1st July, festivalgoers will get the chance to enjoy an intimate atmosphere with a village of tents and bespoke mixes of music and unique performances alongside a fantastic array of food and drink.
This year’s event will be particularly special, with BBC 6 Music joining in the party for a DJ battle! In between dancing the day and night away at the silent disco, attendees can enjoy some chill-out time at the beach or fire garden, or keep the party going in the prosecco garden.
Does this sound like the kind of event you’d love to get involved in? If so, we’ve got all the information to help you get prepped for Fling Festival below.
How to Get Involved
Festivalgoers can
get tickets for Fling Festival online and can check the full line-up for 2017 here. As the festival is only a day-long event, there’s no need to worry about arranging camping — all attendees will need to consider is transport.
For
traders and performers who have already secured places and paid their fees, it’s time to start preparing for the big day. All exhibitors – from performers to carnival ride owners – should create their own unique checklist to ensure they’ll have everything packed and ready. Ensure you’ve checked out your pitch area before arriving to maximise the space you’ve been given. This is also a great chance to find out who will be around you and who you may be able to network with throughout the day for future events.
All traders and performers will need to have supplied correct and up-to-date paperwork for their business – including trading licences and insurance – as this is a legal requirement in the UK.
Most important of all, you should have fun on the day. The happier you and your staff are, the more fun festivalgoers will have. Fling Festival is all about having a great time in a unique festival environment.
Fling Festival Going Green
This awesome Essex festival is also committed to improving the environment by making the event as eco-friendly as possible.
